News Should They Have Kept It? See Meryl Streep's Cut Song from "Into the Woods"! "She'll Be Back," a new Stephen Sondheim song written for Meryl Streep to perform as The Witch in the screen adaptation of "Into the Woods," was cut before the film ever hit theatres. An extended clip of the song has just been released.

Directed by Rob Marshall, the film adaptation features Streep as the Witch with Tony Award winner Corden as the Baker, Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife and Tony Award nominee Kendrick as Cinderella.

"Into the Woods" will arrive on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD March 24.

The Blu-ray and select digital releases include "She'll Be Back," a song penned by Sondheim for Streep. The song, which was shot and later cut from the film prior to release, "sheds a little more light on the Witch’s relationship with Rapunzel," according to Disney.
