Tracie Thoms, who played Joanne in the film version of "Rent," hosts the 7 PM concert at the downtown cabaret. The evening will celebrate the talents of new voices Brooke Jacob, Rich Silverstein, Josh Lamon, Charl Brown and Nadia Wahhab. Guest composer Simon will also speak about the creation of her songs and will accompany herself on a tune from the Tony-nominated Secret Garden score. Barbara Anselmi is the musical director for the latest edition of Monday Nights, New Voices, which was launched by composer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York."
