Anton Dudley's play also features Brienin Bryant, Alexander Flores, Polly Lee, Maggie Moore and Janelle Anne Robinson. Directed by Michael Morris, Slag Heap will officially open April 13; closing night is set for May 7. The production, according to press notes, "is the strangely hilarious yet moving chronicle of wounded youth, born from Thatcher's politics and the aftermath of Britain's Industrial Revolution, in a world where the commodification of humanity has become the primary industry." The creative team for Slag Heap comprises Michael Brown (set design), Michael Krass (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design) and Bart Fasbender (sound design).

Vincent Kartheiser has been seen in the films "Untamed Heart," "Alaska," "Masterminds," "Another Day in Paradise," "Strike!," "Crime & Punishment in Suburbia" and "Dandelion." He is perhaps best known for his work as Connor on the drama series "Angel."

The Cherry Lane Theatre is located at 38 Commerce Street. Tickets, priced at $35, are available by calling (212) 239-6200. The production will play Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays-Fridays at 8 PM and Saturdays at 5 and 9 PM. Visit www.cherrylanetheatre.com for more information.
