News "Smash" Star Megan Hilty Sings with National Symphony Orchestra Nov. 23-24; Aaron Lazar Is Special Guest Megan Hilty, the Broadway actress who plays triple-threat Ivy Lynn on NBC's "Smash," performs with the National Symphony Orchestra Nov. 23-24 at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall.

The concerts, which are titled Luck Be a Lady: Megan Hilty Sings Sinatra and More, are scheduled for Nov. 23 at 1:30 PM and 8 PM and Nov. 24 at 8 PM. Hilty will pay tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra, as well as the Rat Pack, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James.

The performances are led by NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke. Broadway's Aaron Lazar also performs.

Hilty was recently seen as Lorelei Lee, the diamond-loving blonde made famous by Carol Channing, in New York City Center’s Encores! run of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She also played Doralee Rhodes in Broadway’s 9 to 5: The Musical and made her Broadway debut as Glinda in Wicked.

The NSO Pops season will also include The Wizard and I: The Musical Journey of Stephen Schwartz, which will pay tribute to both the 65th birthday of Stephen Schwartz and the 10th anniversary of Wicked and will feature Jennifer Laura Thompson and Julia Murney  (May 16-18, 2013).
