Gray's oral diary also brings his neighbors to life in the tradition of Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood.

Gray is a writer, actor and performer who has created a series of eighteen monologues which have been performed throughout the United States, Europe and Australia, including Monster in a Box and Swimming to Cambodia.
