News Spamalot "Looks on the Bright Side" with Celebratory Shubert Alley Performance To celebrate the end of the strike, the Broadway production of Spamalot will offer a pre-show performance of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" outside their Shubert Theatre home, Nov. 29.

The cast of Monty Python's Spamalot, as accompanied by coconuts, will sing the number at 5 PM in Shubert Alley. For more on Spamalot, visit montypythonsspamalot.com.

Curtains' David Hyde Pierce, The Drowsy Chaperone's Bob Saget and Rock 'n' Roll's Rufus Sewell will be among the stars also celebrating the "Show Must Go On" attitude with stagedoor interviews. And, The Lion King's Tsidii Manye will do the "Rafiki" chant from the show — poking her head out of the Minskoff stage door in full costume, hair and make-up — signaling that Broadway is back.

Performances of all Broadway shows (minus The Homecoming) are scheduled to resume Nov. 29 following a 19-day strike by Local One's stagehands. The League of American Theatres and Producers have reached a tentative agreement with the union.
