The musical parody Spamilton , which began performances July 19, 2016, and was originally scheduled for 18 performances only, has been a hit among critics as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda himself. An updated version of the show recently began performances at the 47th Street Theatre/The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, June 2—around the corner from Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre, where Hamilton is currently playing.
In celebration of their one-year anniversary, the cast of Spamilton documented their two-show day July 19.
