Entitled 75 Inches, the evenings, "which give new meaning to the expression 'size queen,'" will boast direction by Thoroughly Modern Millie's Michael Mayer. Show time is 8 PM.

"In the tradition of Spaulding Gray," read 75 Inches press notes, "Dick Scanlan juxtaposes his experience as an erstwhile drag queen in the hit Off-Broadway musical Pageant against the implications of manhood in his given name, and the result is a hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking conversation in which he does all the talking. . . . [The monologue] challenges the concept of 'effeminacy' and 'homosexuality' — who you have sex with vs. how you behave. The two words are often lumped together, but the struggle of the sissy begins long before sex enters the picture. And in the current climate of assimilation, the glory of the 'sissy' — flamboyant, outrageous, gleefully different — has become a source of embarrassment for many members of the gay community, a community born out of the blood and tears of the Stonewall drag queens."

Dick Scanlan, who originated the role of Miss Great Plains in Off-Broadway's Pageant, is also the author of the novel "Does Freddy Dance." With Jeanine Tesori, he has also penned songs for Kristin Chenoweth, including the theme song to her short-lived sitcom "Kristin."

Ars Nova is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street. Tickets, priced at $15, are available by calling (212) 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com.
