Arnaz's new show, entitled She's Back . . .And This Time It's Personal, is scheduled to feature appearances by her kids, Joe and Katharine D. Luckinbill. Musical director Ron Abel will accompany Arnaz for the 7 PM performances. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear "standards, country, jazz, a new ballad or two, self-penned tunes of romance and revenge, and a celebration her much-loved Latin heritage," according to press notes. In a statement singer-actress Arnaz said, "I just enjoy acting out these stories. That's all really great songs are, anyway. And I always have fun. I love to sing. I pick good tunes and I have Ron Abel and Billy Stritch arrangements. My band is going to be killer. All I need are people in the seats who are there to have fun too!"
Lucie Arnaz received a Theatre World Award for her performance in the Neil Simon/Marvin Hamlisch/Carole Bayer Sager musical, They're Playing Our Song.
