News Stages St. Louis Will Offer Secret Garden, Victor/Victoria and A Chorus Line in 2011 Stages St. Louis has announced that the musicals A Chorus Line and Victor/Victoria will be part of its 25th anniversary summer season, which will launch June 3, 2011.

The Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Chorus Line will open the season June 3-July 3, 2011. The musical about a group of hopeful dancers putting their hearts on the line for a Broadway break has music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante.

Following will be the Tony-winning family musical The Secret Garden, which brings Frances Hodgson Burnett's Victorian novel about a young orphan girl to musical life. The Secret Garden will run July 22-Aug. 21, 2011. Lucy Simon penned the score to the musical that has book and lyrics by Marsha Norman.

The Henry Mancini-Blake Edwards musical Victor/Victoria will run Sept. 9-Oct. 9, 2011. Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse penned additional songs for the stage adaptation of the Academy Award-nominated film about a down-on-her-luck soprano who poses as a female impersonator and becomes the toast of Europe.

Stages St. Louis will also offer Disney's 101 Dalmatians for young theatregoers June 22-July 3, 2011.
