PlayBlog   Submit Your Mother's Day Story to Love, Loss and What I Wore
Love, Loss and What I Wore is holding a contest in honor of Mother's Day, and your story can be performed by cast members of the Off-Broadway production.

The show at the Westside Theatre is now accepting submissions of stories about moms, daughters, grandmothers, and anyone else who is celebrated on Mother’s Day, written in the style of the show. Two grand prize winners will have their stories read on stage at the May 8 performances (one story at the 3 PM performance and one at the special 7 PM performance) and will receive two tickets to the performance.

The May 8 cast will include Conchata Ferrell, Anne Meara, AnnaLynne McCord and B. Smith.

Stories should be no more than 500 words and should be submitted via email to or fax to (212) 375-1120 no later than April 25. Winners will be contacted via email and announced on the show’s website on April 29.

Love, Loss and What I Wore is a collection of vignettes and monologues that uses clothes and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and poignant stories that women can relate to.
