The third production of the 2000 season at Summer Cabaret at Yale, Christopher Durang's Beyond Therapy, will close Aug. 5.
Directed by Kelly Flynn, Durang's 1983 satire involves a couple who meet through personal ads and subsequently seek therapy.
Durang won a 1999 Obie award for Betty's Summer Vacation and is considered one of Yale School of Drama's best-known alumni.
Beyond Therapy stars Derek Lucci as Bruce and Jennifer Brooke Riker. Also appearing are Mark Mattek, Leslie Elliard and Glynis Rigsby. The production team comprises scenic designer Stuart Polasky, co costume designers Stuart Polasky and Timothy Kerber, lighting designer Daniel T. Berggren and sound designer Mimi Epstein.
