News Sweeney Todd's Rice Featured in Well, I Say Do! Concert Oct. 17 Sarah Rice, who created the role of Johanna in the original Broadway production of Sweeney Todd, will be part of an evening at the Merkin Concert Hall Oct. 17.

Entitled Well, I Say Do!, the concert will also boast the talents of Babs Winn, Michael Cone, Rob Gardner and Aaron James. E. Katherine Kerr is the director for the 8 PM performance; Steve Saari will be featured on piano. Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes by Jacques Brel, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, Victor Herbert, Lucy Simon, Cole Porter, Noel Coward and more. All songs are performed without amplification.
