News TACT Revives Time and the Conways After 63 Years, Nov. 9-12 The Actors Company Theatre (TACT) will present Time and the Conways by J.B. Priestley Nov. 9, 11 and 12 at the New York Historical Society. Seen for the first time in New York since 1938, the play shows the effects of time on the hopes and dreams of the prosperous and ambitious Conways during turn-of-the-century England.

The Actors Company Theatre (TACT) will present Time and the Conways by J.B. Priestley Nov. 9, 11 and 12 at the New York Historical Society. Seen for the first time in New York since 1938, the play shows the effects of time on the hopes and dreams of the prosperous and ambitious Conways during turn-of-the-century England.

The cast includes Delphi Harrington, Simon Jones, Eve Michelson, Margaret Nichols, John Plumpis, Scott Schafer and Lyn Wright. They will be directed by guest Will Pomerantz. The first New York cast featured Dame Sybil Thorndike and Jessica Tandy.

TACT was founded in 1992 to present neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit with a focus on creating a theatre from its essence.

Tickets for Time and the Conways are $18 ($15 for New York Historical Society members). Following the Nov. 11 matinee, there will be a Talkback with the cast and director. There will also be free wine receptions following the Friday and Monday performances. For reservations, call (212) 645-TACT.
