News The Amoralists Announce New Season The Off-Broadway company will stage the world premiere of Ken Urban’s Nibbler in 2017.

Off-Broadway theatre group The Amoralists has announced its 2016-17 season, which will include the world premiere of Ken Urban’s dark comedy Nibbler, to be staged at Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre in 2017. It is the company’s tenth season and third residency at Rattlestick.

The story follows Adam and his gang of friends during the summer of 1992 in Medford, N.J. “When the fivesome encounter a mysterious visitor from another world, their lives are forever changed,” state production notes. Nibbler will run from February 23- March 19, 2017, with an opening scheduled for February 27. Benjamin Kamine will direct, with a cast and creative team to be announced at a later date.

The season will also feature Wright Club’s Wright Nights, featuring six new writers in the company’s year-long playwright development program. This season’s six playwrights include Lawrence Dial, Tanya Everett, Jessica Hinds, Stacey Rose, Becca Schlossberg, and Lizzie Vieh. Wright Nights will run November 21-July 17, 2017.
