The Celebrities on the Red Carpet of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark (Video)

PlayBlog   The Celebrities on the Red Carpet of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark (Video) Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark officially opened on Broadway June 14 at the Foxwoods Theatre following the longest preview period in Broadway history. After the show took a three-week hiatus in April to rework original director/co-bookwriter/co-creator Julie Taymor's initial vision, the production resumed May 12 and has made it to opening night.

Here, NY1's Frank DiLella hits the red carpet on June 14 to talk to the celebrities that came out to see Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark on its big night. Matt Damon speaks to DiLella about finally checking out the much-talked-about musical, and director Philip William McKinley and composers Bono and The Edge chat with DiLella about the "re-imagined" version of the new Broadway musical. Bono and The Edge tell the NY1 news anchor that even though the show has made it to opening night, they will still make minor adjustments to the score.

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark stars Reeve Carney as Peter Parker, Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane and T.V. Carpio as Arachne.
