News The Glass Menagerie, Buyer & Cellar and World Premiere of L'Hotel Among Pittsburgh Public's 40th Season Pittsburgh Public Theater will celebrate its 40th anniversary "Season of Legends" with six works including Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie (the first play produced by The Public 40 years ago), the hit play Buyer & Cellar and the world premiere of Ed Dixon's L'Hotel.

"For 40 years Pittsburgh Public Theater has amazed patrons with new works and stellar productions of great classics while building the audience of the future and ending each season in the black," said producing artistic director Ted Pappas in a statement. "This is a tribute not just to the company but to the city of Pittsburgh itself."

The "Season of Legends" begins in October at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District. For more information, call (412) 316-1600 or visit PPT.org.

The Glass Menagerie

How I Learned What I Learned
