Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera will return to the world stage in February 2019.

The hit musical, Broadway's longest-running production, is currently scheduled to play Manila (February 28–April 7, 2019) and Singapore (April 24–May 12) with additional dates to be revealed.

Casting and creative team members will be announced at a later date.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius, who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of young soprano Christine, the Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul, the Phantom’s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness, and passions collide.

The musical has played to over 145 million people in 150 cities across 30 countries. It has won more than 70 major theatre awards, including seven Tony Awards and four Olivier Awards, including one for Best Musical.

Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera is produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group, features music by Lloyd Webber, direction by Harold Prince, lyrics by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and a book by Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber. The musical also features design by the late Maria Björnson, lighting by Andrew Bridge, and sound design by Mick Potter with original sound by Martin Levan. Musical staging and choreography are by the late Gillian Lynne. Orchestrations are by David Cullen and Lloyd Webber.
