News The Roots, Busta Rhymes, and Joell Ortiz Sing “My Shot” on The Tonight Show As The Hamilton Mixtape tops the iTunes charts, more performances pop up on late night.
Questlove and Black Thought

The Hamilton Mixtape seems to be doing just as well as its predecessor, the original cast recording of Broadway’s Hamilton. The album, released December 2, has already reached the number one slot on iTunes.

In addition to Kelly Clarkson’s performance of “It’s Quiet Uptown” on The Today Show, The Roots, Busta Rhymes, and Joell Ortiz brought their tune to late night. The musicians sang their version of “My Shot” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on the December 5 broadcast.
