Also on the latest episode, Damian McGinty, who tied with Samuel Larsen for winner of the reality contest "The Glee Project," made his debut as foreign-exchange student Rory Flanagan.

On the next episode, "The First Time," according to Fox, "the kids prepare to perform the school musical West Side Story. Meanwhile, Finn (Cory Monteith) meets with a recruiter, and Coach Bieste (Dot-Marie Jones) has an admirer." The episode is scheduled to air Nov. 8.

Later in the season, Spring Awakening's Jonathan Groff will make a return, reprising his role as Jesse St. James, and Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans, will return to the series for a multi-episode arc beginning in December.
