Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris made his Broadway debut in 1993 in the title role of The Who's Tommy, a rock opera based on a hit album.

He's back this season as Juan Peron in the Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice musical Evita, another stage production that began life as a concept album before taking the West End and Broadway by storm.
