GO→ Birdland gets Kinky when the cast and creators of the Tony-winning Kinky Boots take to the stage for a special night benefitting Cyndi Lauper's LGBT non-profit, the True Colors Fund. Fellow Kinky Boots creators Harvey Fierstein and director Jerry Mitchell, as well as cast members Billy Porter, Stark Sands, Annaleigh Ashford and others will be on hand for an evening of songs celebrating Kinky Boots' message, "You change the world when you change your mind!" OPENING (UK)→ Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest musical outing, Stephen Ward, officially opens in the West End. Stephen Ward is based on the notorious 1960s London Profumo scandal of a famous doctor on trial for seedy dealings with a politico and a showgirl. Alexander Hanson stars as the titular Dr. Ward under the helm of Richard Eyre. (Aldwych Theatre, 49 Aldwych, London. Info/tickets.) 

Friday, December 20
PREVIEWS→ Rebecca Hall makes her Broadway debut in the revival of Sophie Treadwell's Machinal. The 85-year-old play, co-starring Michael Cumpsty and Morgan Spector, follows a troubled woman through a torrid love affair and a salacious murder trial. GO→ Tony winner and Broadway's favorite leading man Brian Stokes Mitchell rings in the holiday season with A Broadway Christmas. Program highlights include "White Christmas," "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," Mame's "We Need a Little Christmas" and "The Little Drummer Boy." GO→ On the flip side of the holiday coin is everyone's favorite cantankerous funny lady Jackie Hoffman, whose annual Hanukah shows have been a popular feature for anyone looking to relish in holiday anti-cheer. Hoffman's newest show, Hebe for the Holidays, promises to "suck the joy our of your holiday season with an evening of anger and song," as only Hoffman can!
