News The Weird Plays Manhattan Theatre Source Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's The Weird, which opened Feb. 18, will continue Feb. 25-28 at Manhattan Theatre Source.

Featured in the cast are Matt Cohn, Allison Hirschlag, Melissa Pinsly, Celine Rosenthal, Matthew Cohn, Mark Stetson, Trevor Swann, Mark Rosenthal and Erin Gilmore.

Rosenthal and Erin Gilmore are co-directing. Rosenthal also designed lights and sound, and Emily Lynn designed costumes and make-up.

The Weird is described in press notes as "a collection of short pulp plays that riff on classic horror movies, urban legends, and comic book characters. The twist is they are linked together by themes of trust and the nature of relationships making this show about what might really happen if you dump your boyfriend or cheat on your husband...Bloody Mary might show up in your backseat, or a vampire could masquerade as your lover and then eat you. Anything can happen when the horrors of love are mixed up with the horrors of the supernatural, but one thing is for sure, no one is going to make it out alive."

Wake Up, Marconi! Productions produces.

The Manhattan Theatre Source is located at 177 Macdougal St. For tickets visit theatermania.com.
