News The Who's Tommy, Betty Buckley, Joel Grey and More Set for New Broadway & Cabaret Series The Ridgefield Playhouse, the Connecticut venue best known for rock bands, comedians and guest speakers, will launch a Broadway & Cabaret Series in 2016.

The series, which will kick off in January with a concert version of The Who's Tommy, will also include evenings with Broadway favorites Joel Grey, Stephen Schwartz and Betty Buckley.

Daniel C. Levine, artistic director of the new series, told Playbill.com, "With my appointment to the theatre as artistic director for this series, my goal is to bring more Broadway artists to this community. This is a very well-known theatre. Our executive director, Allison Stockel, has put it on the map. And now, we are able to bring top-notch NYC Broadway talent to Fairfield County."

The Tommy concert, scheduled for Jan. 22, 2016, will feature Michael Seelbach, Trisha Rapier, Shayna Steele, Matt Farnsworth, Michelle Pereira and Katie Tomlinson with music direction by Bryan Perri.

The Who's Tommy: A Concert, Jan. 22 at 8 PM
An Evening with Joel Grey, Feb. 19 at 8 PM
An Evening with Stephen Schwartz, April 2 at 8 PM
Betty Buckley Live in Concert, May 7 at 8 PM
