News "Theater Talk" Examines Avenue Q and Bombay Dreams April 2 Avenue Q meets Bombay Dreams on the April 2 edition of "Theater Talk," the PBS talk show that offers interviews with theatre celebrities and writers.

Guests of the Friday-night talk show will include Don Black, the lyricist for the new musical at the Broadway theatre, Bombay Dreams; Avenue Q's composer-lyricists Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx; and Avenue Q producer Kevin McCollum.

Bombay Dreams, which began previews earlier this week, concerns a poor, young Bombay man who becomes a superstar in the Bollywood film industry. The musical will officially open at the Broadway Theatre April 29. Avenue Q, which was a hit Off-Broadway before transferring to the Golden Theatre, humorously and poignantly mixes people and puppets and co-stars John Tartaglia, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Ann Harada and Rick Lyon.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs late Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen.
