Gabler will be on hand to discuss his new biography, "Walt Disney: The Triumph of American Imagination." Gabler, according to press notes, will explain "how and why — 100 years after Disney's death — the sensibility (and international corporation) of this brilliant artist and entrepreneur still has a profound influence on virtually all aspects of American entertainment, including Broadway." Disney's Broadway offerings have included Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aida, Tarzan and Mary Poppins; the latter is a joint production with Cameron Mackintosh.
