News Theatre for Young Audiences Version of Seussical to Return to West End's Arts Theatre in November The theatre for young audiences version of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's 2000 Broadway musical Seussical, previously seen at the Arts Theatre in London in 2012, is to return to the same address for another Christmas run this year. It will begin performances Nov. 30 prior to an official opening Dec. 2, for a run through Jan. 5, 2014.

The production, which runs 80 minutes without an interval, is specifically adapted for young audiences, and is presented in family-friendly matinees with a special early evening performance on Mondays. It is produced by Sell a Door Theatre Company. In the show, "Horton the Elephant discovers an entire small world floating by on a speck of dust. Floating out of control through the universe, this is the home of the Whos, including Jojo – a Who with 'thinks' that defy all description. Horton and Jojo have to find a way to save Who from a world of naysayers and dangers. But Horton faces another challenge: He's been left alone to guard an abandoned egg, abandoned by none other than Mayzie La Bird. Caught between a dust speck and his incubating egg, Horton feels truly alone in the universe, but while he faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and ends up on trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him."

Casting is still to be announced.
