Classic Arts News   Thugs Attack and Rob Scottish Chamber Orchestra Musicians
Two members of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra were assaulted and robbed of two clarinets last weekend while walking along an Edinburgh street, the Edinburgh Evening News reported today.

The musicians: aged 28 and 26: left a friend's house shortly after midnight Saturday, August 28, and were walking down Edinburgh's London Road when two men approached them and attacked, leaving one musician bleeding and unconscious.

The attackers fled with a black clarinet case which contained two clarinets valued at Ô£4,000. Both musicians, who were not named by the News, have said they will not play for several weeks as a result of bruising to the mouth.
