Tickets go on sale Fri. Oct. 22 for Cameron Mackintosh's presentation of Martin Guerre, the new musical written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, the creators of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon. Opening Feb. 23, 2000, Martin Guerre runs through April 8 at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown L.A.

The three leading roles will be played by Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly and Hugh Panaro (as Martin Guerre). Buntrock comes to Martin Guerre directly from the Broadway company of Les Miserables. He also performed the role of the stoker Frederick Barrett in Titanic.

Dilly received high praise for her performance as Billie in Babes in Arms as part of the Encore Series this past season. Pantaro's Broadway credits include the title role in The Phantom of the Opera and Marius in Les Miserables.

The supporting cast includes Jose Llana, Michael Arnold, John Leslie Wolfe, Kathy Taylor, Angela Lockett, John Herrera and Alvin Crawford and D.C. Anderson. The show is directed by Conall Morrison, the award-winning director from Dublin's Abbey Theatre and is choreographed by his frequent collaborator, David Bolger. Martin Guerre premiered this past November in Leeds, England.
