The Tommy tour will open June 11, and play to June 15, at the Centennial Concert Hall, 555 Main Street, Winnipeg. Pete Townshend will attend the opening night. Pete Townshend has stated 80-90% of the original cast from the Toronto production will be going on tour. The production will criss-cross Canada for the summer and fall of 1996, performing in six major cities.
