News Tony Awards-Related Events Scheduled for May 2007 As previously reported, the 61st Annual Tony Awards will be presented June 10, 2007, at Radio City Music Hall. CBS-TV will broadcast the three-hour event live, beginning at 8 PM ET. Several other Tony-related events have also been announced.

The official cut-off date for Tony eligibility — the last day a Broadway show may open in order to be eligible for 2007 Tony nominations — is May 9. The 2007 Tony Award nominations will be announced less than a week later on May 15. The annual Tony nominee press reception, which allows members of the press the chance to interview the season's Tony nominees, will take place May 16. And, the Tony Nominees Luncheon — where the nominees have the chance to celebrate each other's achievements — will be held May 24. The nominees will also receive their nomination certificates at the May 24 event.
