The special event will honor Oscar, Grammy and Emmy award-winning lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman. The Bergmans' careers span over 50 years in show business, having worked with the likes of Fred Astaire, Michel Legrand, Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand. Their Broadway credits as song and lyric writers include Street Corner Symphony, Ballroom and Something More.
Bennett will present the couple with the annual LaGuardia Arts Hall of Fame Award.
The event will also feature guest artists Tony winner David Hyde Pierce; Beautiful star and Tony nominee Jarrod Spector; Grammy-nominated jazz pianist Bill Charlap; cabaret performer Jessica Molaskey; jazz guitarist, vocalist and songwriter John Pizzarelli; and Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winner Paul Williams.
