News Tony Winner Jane Krakowski Joins NBC Comedy Series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski has joined the cast of the upcoming NBC comedy series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," according to Deadline.com.

The series, from "30 Rock" creator-star-executive producer Tina Fey and executive producer Robert Carlock, will also star Ellie Kemper as the title character, who after 15 years of living in a cult, decides to move to New York.

Krakowski will recur as a rich Upper West Side mother who hires Kimmy as a nanny.

Krakowski received a Tony Award for her performance in Nine and was Tony-nominated for Grand Hotel. Her other Broadway credits include Face Value, Starlight Express, Company, Tartuffe and Once Upon a Mattress.
