News Tony Winner Leslie Uggams Will Head to the Chatterbox May 24 Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams, who recently released her newest solo recording, "Uptown Downtown," will be the special guest at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox May 24.

The singing actress, who will be seen in the St. Louis Muny production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, will chat with host Seth Rudetsky.

The weekly live talk show, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is held at 6 PM at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.

Uggams was most recently seen on Broadway opposite James Earl Jones in the Broadway revival of On Golden Pond. She won her Tony Award for her Broadway debut in Hallelujah, Baby!, and has also appeared on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, King Hedley II, Anything Goes, Jerry's Girls, Blues in the Night and Her First Roman. Uggams earned an Emmy for her work on television's "Fantasy" and appeared as Kizzy Reynolds in the award-winning miniseries "Roots."
