News Tony Winner Randy Graff Will Be Part of Free Staged Reading of Oil Tony Award winner Randy Graff (City of Angels, Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, A Class Act) will star in a free staged reading of Marco Calvani’s comedy Oil June 20 at the Robert Moss Theatre (440 Lafayette Street).

The 7:30 PM reading is part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, an eco-friendly/socially-conscious theatre, music and film festival that runs May 29–June 23. The reading will also feature D.C. Anderson (Phantom of the Opera) and Jason Emanuel. Directed by Planet Connections producing artistic director Glory Kadigan and produced by MTWorks, Oil is a part of the Festivity's LGBT night, with proceeds benefiting GLAAD.

"A black comedy about man’s overwhelming greed and eternal conflict between reason and passion, in Oil, Leo is an actor who lands the reality gig of a lifetime," according to press notes. "Certain it will bring true public acclaim he stops at nothing to win, but is he ready for the demands and temptations of fame? Will he closet his love to fit a celebrity mold?"

The Robert Moss Theatre is located at 440 Lafayette Street. Tickets are free and can be reserved online at www.PlanetConnections.org.
