Mamma Mia! has played more than 1,000 performances at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre and there's no sign that she's stopping.
On Nov. 25, tickets went on sale for another six months of performances, lasting through June 29.
Mamma Mia! collects a couple dozen hit songs by the Swedish supergroup ABBA and shapes them around the story of a single mother and her young daughter's marriage on a Greek isle. While the daughter plans her future with the love of her life, she and her mother are haunted by three different men who may or may not be the daughter's father.
The Toronto company is currently headed up by Camilla Scott as Donna, Marisa McIntyre as Sophie and David Mucci (Sam), Laurie Murdoch (Harry) and Andrew Wheeler (Bill) as the trio of Dads. Todd Hofley is Sophie's fiancé Sky and Nicole Roberts (Tanya) and Martha Reilly (Rosie) are Donna's best friends and former bandmates, the Dynamos.
Tickets are $94-$26. For reservations, call (800) 461 3333.
