PS Classics has captured the all-girl musical penned by Roger Bean that highlights the music of the 1950's and 1960's. Prior to its in-store release, the cast recording will be available at PSClassics.com beginning Oct. 28, as well as at the Westside Theatre Upstairs, where the production currently plays.

Off-Broadway cast members Farah Alvin, Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock recorded the tunestack of popular hits on Sept. 18. Grammy Award winner Jeffrey Lesser serves as producer of the cast recording.

"People leave the theatre wanting the CD, and who can blame them? Classic songs, and four amazing singers. We decided to make it available at the Westside Theatre just as soon as we could, and while we were doing that, we decided to put it on sale at our website as well," Tommy Krasker, co-founder of PS Classics, told Playbill.com.

The Marvelous Wonderettes, according to press notes, "features the iconic sounds of the fifties and sixties in a journey back to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where the Wonderettes — Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy — are four young girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts."
