Beltran's production of Shakespeare's classic features two casts, with Beltran playing the title role in both. Developed at Classical Theatre Lab, an ensemble of professional actors dedicated to the classics, Hamlet's cast will don modern clothing, while staying true to the text.

Beltran has performed at theatres all over the West coast, such as California Shakespeare Festival, Los Angeles Theatre Center, the Mark Taper Forum and La Jolla Playhouse. He has appeared in films Eating Raoul and Gaby: A True Story.

Beltran is also a founding member and co-artistic director of the East Los Angeles Classic Theatre Group, where he brought theatrical classics like Hedda Gabler and A Touch of the Poet to the community in East LA.
