Public Television's Charlie Rose show (11 PM, channel 13 in NYC; check local listings other areas) is being taped in London. Expected for tonight's program is Richard Eyre, former artistic director of the National Theatre and director of Tom Stoppard's The Invention Of Love.

On ABC-TV's "Politically Incorrect," 12:05 PM EST, playwright/author David Mamet will be part of the debating team, which also includes Kathy Najimy, now of TV's "Chicago Hope" and "Veronica's Closet" but formerly of Off-Broadway's The Kathy & Mo Show.

Mamet's plays include Sexual Perversity In Chicago, Edmond and his latest, The Old Neighborhood.

The next night, Nov. 20, the cast of Broadway's The Lion King will appear on CBS-TV's Late Show With David Letterman, 11:30 PM EST.
