News   Two Original Cast Members Reunite in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
Original Off-Broadway cast member Melissa Weil rejoins former co-star Jordan Leeds for a number of performances of the musical revue I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the Westside Theatre.

The actress replaces current cast member Janet Metz — while the latter performs pre-arranged concert engagements — for performances, Dec. 25-30.

Weil has performed Off-Broadway in Seven Menus, All This and Moonlight, That Preys Upon the Pain of the People, Another Dead Horse and Oh, Cloris! Her television credits include "ER," "The Sopranos" and "Seinfeld."

Jordan Leeds, Andrea Chamberlain and Colin Stokes currently perform in the work directed by Joel Bishoff. James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard produce.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change features music by Jimmy Roberts with a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro. The musical comedy that delves into the world of dating, love and marriage is also the longest-running musical revue in New York history, having broken the record set by Smokey Joe's Cafe.

The show's creators presented their second Off-Broadway offering, The Thing About Men, in the summer of 2003 at Off-Broadway's Promenade Theatre with Marc Kudisch, Ron Bohmer, Leah Hocking, Daniel Reichard and original I Love You... star Jennifer Simard in the cast. DiPietro is also the bookwriter for the upcoming Broadway musical All Shook Up, featuring the music of Elvis Presley, which is set to begin previews at the Palace Theatre Feb. 20, 2005 and open March 24. I Love You, You're Perfect has enjoyed success throughout the world, having opened it 150 different cities including Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City and Barcelona.
