News Ty Burrell, Claire Danes, Benedict Cumberbatch, Julianne Moore Among Critics Choice TV Awards Winners The second annual Critics Choice TV Awards, which are presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association to honor the best in television, were held in Beverly Hills June 18.

Among the theatre folk who were the critics' choices were Ty Burrell (Macbeth), who won Best Supporting Actor for "Modern Family"; Claire Danes (Pygmalion), who received Best Actress for "Homeland"; Christina Hendricks (Company), who won Best Supporting Actress for "Mad Men"; Lucy Liu (God of Carnage), who received the Best Guest Performer award for "Southland"; Paul Rudd (Three Days of Rain), who received the Best Guest Performer award for "Parks and Recreation"; Julianne Moore (The Vertical Hour), who won Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries for "Game Change"; and Benedict Cumberbatch (Frankenstein), who took home the Best Actor in a Movie/Miniseries for "Sherlock." The Showtime series "Homeland" was awarded the Best Drama Series with NBC's "The Voice" as Best Reality Series (Competition) and NBC's "Community" as Best Comedy Series. "Sherlock," which stars West End actor Cumberbatch, received the Best Movie/Miniseries award.

Other notable winners included Julie Bowen for "Modern Family," Zooey Deschanel for "New Girl," Amy Poehler for "Parks and Recreation," Bryan Cranston for "Breaking Bad" and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" as Best Talk Show.
