News Upcoming Marcy and Zina Show to Feature Green, Murney, Lippa and More Special guests for the upcoming Marcy and Zina Show at Opia have been announced.

Celebrated songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will offer The Marcy and Zina Show at Opia Sept. 27 and 28 at 9 PM. Starring Heisler, Goldrich and vocalist Scott Coulter, the first evening will also include the talents of Amanda Green and Tom Kitt, Richard Todd Adams and Jill Abramovitz. The Tuesday-night performance will boast appearances by Julia Murney, Andrew Lippa and Abramovitz. Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich were honored with the ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Theatre Award. They are also the recipients of several Bistro and MAC Awards, and their tunes have been embraced by Kristin Chenoweth (she performed their song "Taylor, the Latte Boy" on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show and recently at Carnegie Hall), Jekyll & Hyde's Christiane Noll (she recorded "Taylor" on her solo disc), Avenue Q's Ann Harada and John Tartaglia, Saturday Night Fever's Paige Price and Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen. Their work is now available for all, courtesy of a new 318-page tome — "Goldrich and Heisler: Songbook Volume 1" — that features 32 of their songs.
