LOS ANGELES -- Broadway singer Anne Runolfsson makes a rare West Coast cabaret appearance at the Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Feb. 10-14.
Runolfsson has starred on Broadway and in national tours of musicals including The Secret Garden, Les Miserables and Cyrano.
She has portrayed the dual title role of Victor/Victoria more than 120 times, filling in for Julie Andrews, Liza Minnelli and Raquel Welch.
Runolfsson's debut CD At Sea was highly praised by the New York Times: "Ms. Runolfsson has a flexible virtuosity, between ethereal melodiousness and piercing big-moment resonance."
Runolfsson has performed her one-woman shows Iron Jane and Self Help in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. The Cinegrill is at 7000 Hollywood Blvd. The cover charge is $12 ($20 on Feb. 14).
