Given all the moo-words in his new children's book, "May Maisey Moo's Cowlection of Moo Tales, Vol. 1: The Cowvention," one wonders if veteran theatre costume designer, hairstylist and dresser Vin Esoldi can drive along a country road without having kids in passing cars point to him and say, "Moo-ve over!"
But wait, there's moo-re.
Esoldi, who has worked for some three decades in theatre, has written book for kids that milks every possible bovine phrase. The story has Maisey and her friends discovering that they are no longer "cash cows," and that they must band together to solve their dilemma.
Esoldi plans "Moolenium Madness," "Cowroosing the Cowribbean," "Moo on the Moon" and "Moovelous Masquerade" to complete the five-part series.
Vin Esoldi worked on Broadway in Amy's View, Ah, Wilderness, An American Daughter, Arcadia, The Heiress and Meet Me In St. Louis among other productions. "May Maisey Moo's Cowllection of Moo Tales, Vol. 1: The Cowvention" is available at Borders, Barnes and Noble or by visiting maymaiseymoo.com.
