News Vivien Parry of West End Mamma Mia! to Headline Memory for Brits Off Broadway Vivien Parry, who played Donna in Mamma Mia! in London's West End for two years, will lead the cast of the Brits Off Broadway production of Jonathan Lichtenstein's Memory, which runs May 5-27 and will be directed by Terry Hands at 59E59 Theaters.

The cast also includes Lee Haven-Jones and Daniel Hawksford, Ifan Huw Dafydd, Simon Nehan, Oliver Ryan and Christian McKay. The play comes to New York from Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Wales. According to press notes, Memory "is a powerful dramatization of the power and failure of memory. Crossing between two generations, Memory links the events of the Holocaust with the modern-day Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

Lichtenstein is the author of The Pull of Negative Gravity. Hands is the former artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and is currently the artistic director of the Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Wales. His Broadway directing credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Cyrano de Bergerac (with Derek Jacobi) Macbeth (with Kelsey Grammer) and Carrie.
