Previews for Riverdance - On Broadway begin March 3 for an opening March 16 and a run through June 25.

Champion dancers Pat Roddy and Eileen Martin will be featured among the 80 dancers, musicians and singers in the Gershwin production. In addition, Flamenco star Maria Pages, The Lion King's Tsidii Le Loka and Irish singer Brian Kennedy will be joining the production.

Riverdance originated in 1995 at the Point Theatre in Dublin. Production sources indicate that 10 million have seen Broadway and tour productions of the show and that some 6.5 million videos have been purchased as well.

Riverdance composer and lyricist Bill Whelan won a Best Musical Show Album Grammy in 1997 for "Riverdance - The Album." The celebration of Irish music, song and dance is produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan.

Tickets are now on sale for Riverdance-On Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre, located at West 50th Street and Eighth Avenue. Previews tickets run $20 -$75, and $25 - $80 after opening. To order tickets call Ticketmaster (212) 307-4100.
