Two newly discovered Miller works — Bulldog and The Performance — will be presented at 1:30 PM. Theatre veteran Eli Wallach will perform Bulldog, while Joan Copeland — who played Miller's mother in The American Clock and is the late playwright's sister — will present The Performance. The Performance, according to press notes, concerns a "tap dancer [who] is asked to dance for the most powerful man in Germany. It is an offer he is frightened to refuse. The year is 1936."
The Food for Thought series begins with lunch at 12:30 PM, followed by the readings and a question-and-answer session at 1:30 PM.
