The luncheon ceremony, which begins at noon at the 3 West Club (3 West 51st Street), will be hosted by comedienne and actress Julie Halston. Attendees will include actresses Jane Alexander and Marian Seldes, playwright David Lindsay-Abaire and director-producer Emily Mann.
Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the T. Schreiber Studio and, in honor of Wasserstein, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tickets are available now by calling the T. Schreiber Studio at (212) 741-0209.
Wasserstein died on Jan. 30. Her plays include The Heidi Chronicles, The Sisters Rosensweig and the recent Third. Nixon appeared in the original production of Heidi on Broadway. She is currently back on Broadway in The Rabbit Hole.
