Elisabeth Moss, who will star in a Broadway revival of The Heidi Chronicles, appeared on "The Late Show With David Letterman" Feb. 11.

Moss discussed throwing the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game and being coached in baseball by her "Mad Men" co-star Jon Hamm, as well as working with Robert Redford.

"You'd be surprised, talking to Robert Redford, what an idiot you become," Moss said, laughing about Redford's esteemed status in the entertainment industry. "He'd be like, 'Good morning,' and I'd be like, 'What does one say to Good morning?'"

The Heidi Chronicles will be directed by Pam MacKinnon, who won a 2013 Tony Award for her revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and will begin performances Feb. 23 at the Music Box Theatre.

The Broadway revival of Wasserstein's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play will feature Moss, Jason Biggs, Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham and Tracee Chimo.
