A new iPhone app based on the London musical We Will Rock You puts theatre fans to the test as a producer. Over the course of 52 simulated weeks, gamers are prompted to make production and creative decisions, including setting ticket prices, casting, merchandising, stage equipment, props and marketing – all within the show's budget. The goal? Get your show from the small school stage all the way to London’s Dominion Theatre.
Players can earn extra cash (in British pounds of course!) by playing the Spotlight and Staging games based on the musical that features the hit songs from the Queen catalogue. The iPhone app is free and available by visiting the iTunes Store.
